Vanessa Jenkins Memorial Women's Health Annual Nursing Scholarship
Awarded to a student in the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing who:
- Entering or completed 4th semester (spring)
- Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
- Involvement in volunteer work, community service, or advocacy efforts related to women’s health or underserved populations
- Demonstrates interest in pursuing a career in women’s health, including (but not limited to) obstetrics, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, or reproductive health
- Positive faculty and/or clinical instructor evaluation, emphasizing professionalism, empathy, and commitment to patient-centered care
Applicant must submit the following:
1) Completed FAFSA
2) Resume
3) Essay
4) Letter of recommendation from a clinical instructor, faculty member, or nurse preceptor familiar with the applicant’s performance and aspirations
